Large oil on canvas painted by Francesco Bosso (1864-1933). Signature 'F. Bosso' and date (1906) in the lower right corner. Additional signature and location (Vercelli) on the back. The shepherdess figure, depicted while she's reading a letter on the wood path, is well detailed and pleasant. It is presented in a coeval frame (early 1900).
