Description

A Napoleon III elegant serpentine writing desk with a drawer, top with a removable leather insert. Shelf with open compartments, two drawers and a small marble top. Mahogany and bois de rose. Embellished with marquettere inlays, friezes and gilded bronze frames. Manufactured in France, early 20th century.
