Oil on board. Considering its speedy nature and manufacture, it may be a launch to the buyers for a bigger work. The Madonna lays on a throne among the clouds, extending a rosary to Saint Dominic Guzman, while the Child in her arms offers it to Saint Catherine of Siena. The two Saints are characterized by singular iconographic signs: they both wear a Dominican dress, the thorn crown, the book and the heart on the female Saint's feet. It is presented in a coeval frame. 17th century.
