Description : Milano - Meyland. Veduta panoramica della città
Etching of the end '700, by Johann Friedrich Probst. The panorama of the city is characterized by two hallmarks of the views of the Probst: the upper frieze, bearing the name of the city, written in the manner of parchment, and a detailed legend, which describes the city in 63 points of interest, relating to his churches. On the back there are the notations in ink of the era, not relevant to the subject, and to denote its use... such as paper from writing! In the frame of the plexiglas.
