Oil on canvas by Amerigo Canegrati (1900-1938). Signed in the lower right corner. The young artist of Milan, who became very famous during the 30s, is one of the main proponents of the Lombard pictorial tendencies of the 20th century. His technique expresses deep color qualities in the paintings as well as in the landscapes and the figures. On the back a label belonging to the personal exhibition at the Milan Gallery contains the painting's title and date (1938 and correspondent year of the Fascism age, 16th century). It is presented in a frame. 1938.
