Description
The wax bas-relief depicts Venus sitting on a group of rocks teaching to Cupid in front of her. The wax is worked on a slate support and inserted in a carved and gilded coeval frame; the frame has been slightly adapted in size. On the back of the slate is visible a signature partially unreadable (Mai ... G ... N ...).
