Description : Paesaggio con edifici e figure

Oil on canvas, Italian School. The painting depicts a bright landscape with hills from which some villages emerge. A stream is flowing from the high mountains on which there is a village to the narrow and shady valley below. On the banks, there are some washerwomen and a gentleman who is looking towards them while wandering. It is presented in a revival frame, gilded anew. 18th century.
