Description : L'invitato" e "il goloso

A pair of watercolors on paper made with the Pochoir technique for the magazine "Il Teatro della moda", year I, number I (enclosed), to show the different fabrics and style of some clothes appropriate for different moments of the day: besides the pair by Dudovich, a third watercolor titled 'Al parco' is enclosed to the magazine and signed Amaldi. The Pochoir or Stenciling (a French staining technique which produces an image or pattern by applying pigment to a surface over an intermediate object with designed gaps in it which create the pattern or image by only allowing the pigment to reach some parts of the surface) is wisely used to enhance the effects of the described fabrics under the title. 1924.
