Description : Madonna del latte

Oil on canvas. The work is evidently derived from "our Lady's cushion is green" by Andrea Solario (1507-1510 ca),kept at the Louvre. Not copy: the Madonna is painted in the counterpart and with a posture that is slightly different. At lower right is the name of the author Pauli, Hugo, and the date 1886; similar figures at the back ,with the wording "Copy from Tintoretto" (?!). Presented in a contemporary frame.
