Oil on canvas. The girl from a Lomdard family is depicted with evident care to her serious and calm expression. She is depicted in a domestic setting, where the red armchair against which she is leaning stands out just like the flower composition and the book on the coffee table behind her, which can be interpreted as symbolic representations of the girl's qualities (the youth and the propensity to culture and study). The canvas is presented in a coeval frame (late 1800s). Already restored and relined.

Very good condition. Wear consistent with age and use. It may have been restored by an expert.
