Etchings. The four engravings, with the name of the engraver and the date at the bottom right, reproduce two historical and two mythological episodes, from paintings by different painters: "Cesare repudes Pompea" and "The finding of Romolo e Remo on the banks of the Tiber" from drawings by Pietro da Cortona, "Apollo crowns Merit and punishes Arrogance" from a design by Andrea Sacchi, and "Belisario blinded by Giustiniano" from a design by Salvator Rosa. The four works present different stains from humidity and small holes. Presented in 19th century frames.
