Oil on plywood. Signature and date at the bottom left. On the back of the painting title and cartouche of attendance to the exhibition held in Milan by Salvetti Gallery in 1946. The painting depicts a sleeping shepherd in a pleasant rural context. The thematic repertoire of the artist includes mainly subjects inspired by pine forests, the surroundings of Livorno, gardens and country paths. In frame. 1940.
