Oil on plywood. Signed on the top right. Title written in pencil and label with data of the artist on the back. Painter and sculptor who studied at Accademia Albertina in Turin, Romolo Bernardi was Giacomo Grosso's pupil. He moved to Rome and became Queen Margherita's artistic counselor. He used to paint mostly landscapes, portraits and female subjects. As sculptor, he realized many bronze and marble monuments and steles. The painting is presented in frame. 20th century.
