Description : Angelo annunciante

Oil on canvas. The painting is very close to Stefano Maria Legnani's technique considering the figure painted softly with light colors and the pink shades of the face. The structure and material used for the painting suggest it was made in the late 1700s excluding the attribution to the painter himself. The painting is presented in a beautiful frame of the mid 1800s made of carved rosewood with ornament on the top made of brass plates. It comes from an historical private collection in Lombardy. 18th century.

Product Condition:
Very good condition. Wear consistent with age and use. It may have been restored by an expert.
