Oil painting on canvas. Signed in the lower right corner. On the back, title, signature and address of the artist, label of the art gallery in Pescara and stamp of the anthological exhibition at Royal Palace in Milan held in July 1975. The artist from Bergamo studied in Bergamo at first and then in Milan. He took part actively in the artistic and cultural life of the chief town helping to impress new orientations and new ways of proposing culture. He took part in the most important Italian and foreign manifestations. The City of Milan dedicated him an important exhibition at Royal Palace in the Sala delle Cariatidi in 1975. His artistic production is characterized by masks and Harlequins, but also still life, landscapes and self-portraits. In this painting, the still life is depicted within an artist's studio as we can deduce from the easel and the painting on the background, which is a self-portrait of the artist.
