Oil painting on copper. The legend attributes to Saint Helen - mother of Emperor Constantine the Great with whom she converted to Christianity - the finding of the wood of Christ's Cross. In this painting she is depicted during the moment of her conversion. She is richly dressed and surrounded by her dames. She is visited by Jesus in a dream and he points her the sky.
