Giuseppe Palanti was a painter, advertiser, illustrator, set designer, designer and teacher of figurative arts at Accademia di Brera in Milan. His painting production includes many portraits of famous characters of the period, especially the portrait of Pope Pius XI and one of Benito Mussolini's official portraits.
