Description : Pretini

Oil painting on canvas signed Caffé in the middle on top. Further signature and date on the back. Unfortunately the painting is devoid of authentication, but the depicted scene can be attributed to the painter Nino Caffé. He was born in Abruzzo and studied in Pesaro and Urbino at the beginning and then in Rome. Caffé was famous for his paintings depicting priests. He made a wide production dedicated to this subject. The poet and writer Aldo Palazzeschi wrote about him. Presented in frame. 1974.
