Description : Ritratto maschile

Oil painting on cardboard with signature and date (1899) in the lower right corner. The artist was born in Clusone in the province of Bergamo (Italy) from a family of artists. He was active in the late 19th century mostly in the small villages of Val Seriana. Some of his paintings are in the parish church of S. Bartolomeo in Songavazzo (a municipality just above Clusone). Presented in coeval gilded frame.
