Acrylic on canvas. Signed in the lower right. To the back this extra signature is authentic, and the scroll of the art gallery of Portofino with the data of the work. A native of Udine, but moved early on to Turin, where she completes her studies, Luigi Rocca begins to get to know the student level, even at the age of sixteen, with exhibitions, city and regional, with emphasis on the subject-figurative, but also fascinated by the landscape. Follower of hyper-realism, aiming at a representation of objective reality, and fascinated by America, dedicating to this country a large part of its production, representing with style and made almost photographic, glimpses of the big cities, especially New York, from big arteries to the small corners of neighborhoods "foreigners", as this is proposed, that highlights a local Italian, Naples. Peculiar his "portraits" of luxury cars, which depicts a gritty realism that leaves nothing to the emotional participation of the artist.
