Oil on panel. Bucolic scene with a shephard, followed by a laundress, guiding his small herd to the stream. The figures in the center are sorrounded by the countryside and dark colors of the woods. The light comes from the upper part of the painting: the sky is clear before sunset. The painting is presented a coeval guilloché frame.
