Enamels on wood. Signature and date on the back. Paolo Masi, born in Florance, since the begining of 1950s took part at the experimental elaboration of new artistic techniques that in his city was represented by strong and coherent dropping out of formalism's rules and of every form of academicism, breaking with the past. Masi moved from intial experiences in informal painting and complete abstration to an activity more complex, articulated and diversified on the technical-linguistic level. His strong activiry is knonw in Italy as well as abroad.
