Description : Natività

Oil on copper. Intense depiction of the sacred event, which sees the centre at the bottom of the figure of the Child, already vividly active: his eyes and his hands are stretched towards the Mother, and St. Joseph, aligned on a single axis oblique ascending upwards to the right; to the left are the faces of the two pastors that they create a slanted line down, to contemplate Jesus. In the second plan, background, animals, and the structure of the barn that is the frame of the landscape faded in the distance. The intensity of the light grows converging towards Jesus, with two points clear dominant and nearly symmetric to the right in the bust of Mary left in the shoulder of the shirt of the shepherd. The work is presented in full frame style.
