Oil on canvas. Signed in the lower right. At the back there is another signature, with the title and date, accompanied by the initials S. M. P. that refer to the locality Santa Margherita di Pula, in Sardinia. Carlo Prada was born in Milan and, while adhering initially to the movement divisionism, and he was then attracted by the "group of the Twentieth century", focusing in this period, mainly to the portrait; in search of new ways of artistic expression, came later to the Clarity, the current that developed around the choice of colors is precisely as clear and bright. This period is the choice of landscape as the dominant subject in his production, especially inspired from the ligurian land in which he lived and died. The work in the frame.
