Description : Scena di genere con figure

Oil on canvas. Italian School. The scene with immature people takes place at the duty couter, probaby for a transit payment: the tax collector seems bored sitting under his tent while counting the money that the wayfarer gave him while outside his wife is waiting suffering for the large pregnant belly and is holding the horse by the bridles. The painting had been restored and comes with a gilded ancient wood frame.
