Description : Paesaggio con figure - La vendemmia

Oil on canvas. In the countryside in front of the aristocratic palace, in the centre in the back, the harvest is fervent with white and red grapes; many figures participate to the scene, picking the bunches of grapes (even with ladders!), selecting them and moving them to the pressing. The painting is accompanied by pictures with an attribution to Jacobus Storck (1641-1700), famous for his seascapes and glimpses of port cities. The big seascape can still be a part of the landscape production of North-European authors. Restored and recanvased, the painting is presented in a modified antique frame.
