Description
Walnut bench with curved and carved legs, the back ones have a swirl feet, the front ones are "claw and ball", on the top part there are carved floral motifs; they are connected by spindles decorated with carved and turned elements. Phytomorphic carvings decorate the under the top band as well; the shaped edges of the backrest has a pod-shaped frame. while there are leaf-like spirals on the sides and the upper part, that end in the small cymathium, where there is a shell with a carving in rocaille taste. The seating and the raised back are padded and lined with a fabric that has been replaced later. The foldable backrest is peculiar: it is supported by hooks that allow to recline the backrest forward when open. Walnut, partly gilded.
