Color screen printing, collages and applications. Signed lower right; number of evenings 246/250 bottom left. Enrico Baj born in Milan in 1924, was a painter, sculptor and essayist, he went through the season of the fifties and sixties alongside Fontana, Manzoni, Klein. Baj joined various artistic movements that made the history of the twentieth century: the Nouveau Réalisme, the Surrealism, the Pataphysics, the Nuclear Movement. From these choices the soul of this artist and his ability to eviscerate reality down to the atomic dimensions, elaborating a completely personal interpretation, immediately transpires. With the use of the most disparate materials such as wood, fabrics, mechanics, hydraulic pipes, Baj has given us a monstrous vision of the world, through fashion as a degraded form of art and through the uncontrollable progress of technology, now queen of mankind, responsible for its robotization and the modern prevailing of form over substance. In frame.
