Description

In carved walnut. The frame likely to contain a supporting panel is carved according to the late sixteenth century motifs with scrolls, festoons and a cherub in the cymatium, the entablature is always carved with phytomorphic motifs. The upper and lower moldings are later additions, while the lateral pilasters carved with winged caryatids are always from the same period but added later to enrich the frame.
