Description

Pheasant in embossed and gilded silver on a lacquered wooden base from the 19th century. Brand of the manufacture engraved under the foot. Dionisio Garcia Gomez is a renowned Madrid silversmith of the first half of the 20th century. After his apprenticeship with the silversmith DH Adradas, he opened his workshop and became the Royal Silversmith of King Alfonzo Xlll. Gomez died at the age of 37 leaving the business to his wife and children.
