Oil on cardboard. Signed and dated lower right. Ceramist, painter and sculptor of Savona origin, Mario Rossello, after a post-cubist figurative beginning, approaches abstract painting; in the early 1950s he frequented Milan and its artists and in 1957 took part in the exhibition "Nuclear Art" at the San Fedele Gallery in Milan. At the end of the 60s he took a more abstract path and then landed on the robot series, and at the end of the 70s he dedicated himself to the work that most characterized him, the Trees. In Milan his name remains linked to the current New figuration. Work presented in frame.
