Oil on table. Signed and dated 23 April '89 on the back. Letizia Fornasieri, Milanese by birth, graduated in Painting from the Brera Academy of Fine Arts in 1981. Since then, her "profession" as a painter began, supported by the friendship of the American painter William Congdon. The constant theme of her production is the investigation of reality - “not to compete with it, but to confront and get to know each other”, an information which, associated with a continuous experimentation of the means of expression, has earned her accolades from critics and the public.
