Oil on canvas. The young lady, shown seated in profile, wears a sleeveless blouse that recalls the tunic of the women of ancient Rome. The sobriety of the figure, which is adorned only by a small earring, is also underlined by the colors that play on the shades of a single chromatic range, which starting from the darkest background, fade into the color of the tunic and flow into the pink of the complexion . The painting is presented in a coeval gilt frame.
