Acrylic on linen canvas. At the back, the signature, date and title of the work, Andrea del Sarto performance (Museo Vivo). It is one of the works created by the hyper-realistic painter Piero Geri, aka Jericho, belonging to the “Museo Vivo” series, a group of works based on the scenographic recovery (by extension) of pieces of ancient painting. In this case the Last Supper by Andrea del Sarto is re-proposed, a large fresco painted between 1511 and 1527 and kept in Florence, in the church of San Salvi. The reproduction presents the Last Supper scene as if it were on a movie set. The work is framed in style.
