Description : San Sebastiano

Oil painting on canvas. On the back there is a guarantee title block of the Di Rosa Art Gallery, in Rome which refers to the Romagna school. The saint is depicted in a full figure, while undergoing martyrdom supported and pierced by several arrows, in accordance with the iconographic tradition; the suffering gaze is ecstatically turned upwards. At its foot, other arrows on the right, some architectural elements on the left. The painting, restored and relined, is presented in an adapted 19th century frame.
