Description
Neapolitan neoclassical chest of drawers with worked white marble top, Naples third quarter of the 18th century. Entirely veneered and inlaid with Greek and neoclassical motifs, including musical trophies and vases within reserves. It has an embossed sheet metal undertop decoration, in front of 2 drawers, replaced bronze handles. Made in various woods including bois de rose, maple, mahogany, rosewood and boxwood; poplar interior. Important restoration interventions.
