Description : Grande pannello ligneo scolpito ad altorilievo
High relief carved wooden panel. The work refers to the production of the famous NP2 group, founded in 1962 by Nerone Ceccarelli and Giancarlo Patuzzi with the aim of experimenting "new sources of poetic expression from materials" and "promoting the integration of art into architecture" together with other professionals. The group initially produced only single, signed works, but from the 1970s it also began to make unsigned panels and furnishings, with the specified intention of bringing "beauty" into homes. This panel was designed as a wall headboard for a double bed. It is worked with geometric decorations, partially overlapping or intertwined, with an ethnic flavor.
