Description

Tokoname ceramic figure of Hotei, god of abundance and happiness. Depicted seated, leaning on one side on his bag full of coins and a fan in his hand. Painted in tempera, patinated to simulate a bronze sculpture, as was typical of the Japanese Tokoname production.

Item in good condition, with small signs of wear.
