Description : Icon del XIX secolo

Tempera on wood. The icon presents the figures of three saints, superimposed vertically: in the center we can recognize Saint George, traditionally depicted on horseback while killing the dragon; above and below two unidentified Saints, both holding a scroll in one hand, one written page open to the other, symbols of the divine Word proclaimed and which probably identifies them as Apostles. The icon has widespread worm-eaten marks and color deficiencies.
