Description : Scorcio mediterraneo

Oil on hardboard. Signed lower left. French impressionist painter, Emiot depicted in his landscapes mainly coastal views of the Mediterranean coast, where he was born, but also glimpses of the hinterland. His landscapes are characterized by luminosity and play of colours, such as this glimpse which sees very brightly colored boats in the foreground, framed by the sky and the sea. The painting is presented in a gilded frame.
