Oil painting on canvas. Signed lower left. On the back there is another signature, the title in English and the date. Of great scenographic impact, the canvas presents a landscape that from the hill full of trees opens onto a cultivated countryside, blonde with ripe wheat; in the foreground, some figures of peasants are resting in the shade, while another is passing by on horseback. If in DeVille's works they are often pervaded by melancholy and solitude, this is not the case in this work, where the light and the colors refer to an atmosphere of serene everyday life. The work is presented framed.
