Description : Scorcio portuale

Oil painting on canvas. Signed lower left. Glimpse of a small port probably from Liguria, full of colors and shades. Bogoni, an artist of Veronese origin but mainly active in Milan, after an initial pictorial phase that was more introspective and very dedicated to portraits, starting in the fifties he devoted himself to still lifes and landscapes, fascinated above all by the Ligurian sea, transferring also in these new subjects his passion for analyzing emotions and feelings and recreating them through the colors and shades of nature. The work is presented in a frame.
