Oil painting on canvas. Signed lower right, barely legible. Further signature and title on the back. The theme of nature, landscapes and situations present in his memory recurs in Mario Bionda's works. Among these places, the Cinque Terre often return, such as those presented here, which form the backdrop to a distorted female figure: author of a painting that expresses the intimate human drama, between contemplation of nature and rarefaction of the image, Bionda loved to use often mixed techniques, layering natural materials and pigments, colors alluding to the elements of nature (fire, water, earth), in the brown and green tones of the woods and marshes, or in the whites, grays and blues of the sky and the sea. The painting is presented in a frame.
