Description : L'incoronazione della Vergine

Oil painting on canvas. The scene depicts the coronation of Mary which follows her Assumption into heaven in body and soul, the only human creature to be admitted to this privilege. In fact Mary is found on the clouds together with the Holy Trinity: the Son Jesus is crowning her queen of heaven, assisted by the Father and by the Holy Spirit; the angels crown all around. The painting needs restoration due to some drops of color and small holes. It is presented in a coeval frame.
