Description

Baluster porcelain vase, decorated within polylobed cartouches with various fox hunting scenes on a background of flowers and foliate vegetable racemes embellished in gold on a cobalt blue. The type of decoration in an eclectic style, but clearly inspired by the Chinese export porcelain of the seventeenth century. Circular support in painted wood.
