Oil painting on canvas. Signed lower right. On the back further signature and stamp of the artist's Latina studio. The still life offers a set of vegetables (peppers, onions, garlic, dried chillies) arranged on a wooden surface with various copper and ceramic vases and plates, a framed portrait, the base of an oil lantern, located in a rural setting, as evidenced by the rough stone wall and the side table. Vincenzo Buscicchio, from Salento, has chosen to paint the places, the people, the scenes of the everyday life of his land, with a traditional pictorial style, without ever approaching the avant-gardes of the twentieth century. The work is presented in a frame.
