Description
Art Nouveau mailbox, made of chestnut and mahogany, Naples, early 20th century. Front with brass characters applied to form the word "POSTA", six letter compartments with metal front, lower section with flap drawers. Bottom drawer lock missing. A similar post office box is present at Palazzo Mannajuolo in Naples, a historic Art Nouveau residence located in via Filangieri, in the Chiaia district.
