Description

Pair of columns in carved, lacquered and gilded wood, Tuscany, third quarter of the 19th century. Rocked capitals, serpentine green marbled molded shafts and bases. Decorated with alternating myrtle and ivy wreath carvings arranged to wrap around the stems with a spiral movement. Mecca gilding subsequently resumed in some points.
