Description

Carved, lacquered and mecca-gilded linden and pine baroque frame, central Italy, third quarter of the 18th century. Decorated at the ends of each corner and in the middle of each side with rocaille and cartouche carvings. External ivory lacquered shell, carved and blue lacquered interior to emulate sea waves. Breakages and shortcomings.
