Description
Mahogany veneered chest of drawers, England, early 19th century. Uppercase with two paneled doors, decorated with dark wood threads and brass profiling, containing pull-out drawers; in the upper section of the riser there is an oval reserve veneered in mahogany feather. Chest of drawers supported by shelf feet and equipped with four drawers, two of which in the band. Interior spruce and oak. Restorations. Original knobs replaced with handles and missing hardware; absent an internal drawer.
